I don't know where you'd find docs of any sort - but currently, the only
solution would be to grab the "patches" for 2.6, apply them as best you
can to 2.4, and fix up the remaining bits that don't work. That's
probably several days work for someone familiar with Xen and 2.4/2.6
kernel, and if you haven't got much experience with this, you're going
to have to gain that experience first... 

The other alternative, which is quite realistic for commercial use, but
probably not an option in a hobby-case, is that you get a "hardware
supported virtual machine", HVM, solution in place. This can run an
unmodified Linux (or other OS) in a virtual machine.
