Hello Tulasi,

I think the problem is not the SATA driver, but that you are running
on a RAID (md2). As seen in your non-Xen booting, you are using a
initrd, so you also need to create and use one for your xen boot.

For Xen 3.0.2 it works this way:

depmod 2.6.16-xen
mkinitrd -o /boot/initrd.img-2.6.16.xen 2.6.16-xen

In menu.lst:

title           Xen 3.0.2 / XenLinux 2.6.16
root            (hd0,0)
kernel          /boot/xen-3.0.2.gz dom0_mem=262144
module          /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.16-xen root=/dev/md2 ro console=tty0
