I don't know about the original poster, but in my case I had to go back to
xen-3.0.1 because I got a kernel panic error (VFS: Cannot open root device
"sda1" or unknown_block(0,0)) when booting the dom0, both with the binary
version and the source code one, although I'm afraid I didn't have the time to
further investigate the causes and I just switched back to xen-3.0.1
