sorry all.
I had asked this same question on this list before and was answered.
I need to recreate the boot/initrd.img after upgrading libc6.

I have taken note and promise not to ask this question here again ;)

Chris.

Hi all,

Up till now, I've setup 3 debian etch dom0's successfully.
Now, on my 4th installation I am having problems with libc6

I have always compiled a new xen-friendly libc6 adding
'-mno-tls-direct-seg-refs'
to the lines BUILD_CFLAGS and HOST_CFLAGS

after compiling I install
libc6_2.3.6-13_i386.deb
libc6-dev_2.3.6-13_i386.deb
libc6-xen_2.3.6-13_i386.deb
locales_2.3.6-13_all.deb

That has always worked until now.
I have also seen a libc6-xen dpkg in the etch repository.

After having downloaded the latest
apt-get build-dep libc6
apt-get source libc6
and compiling again it still doesn't work.

What has changed?
I'm confused.

Thanks for any help.
Chris.
