Hello list,

i have set my own vif name's in the domU config-files
(vif = ['vifname=lan_1.0, ip=172.16.2.10'] but the
problem now is that Shorewall didn't start when I boot
the PC
(STARTUP_ENABLED=Yes) because Shorewall didn't know
the vif (lan_1.0)
"Configuring Proxy ARP, cannot find lan_1.0"! We start
the domU's manually
and not at startup so we need a script which creates
the vif (vifname's)
at startup. I've found a script (see below) at the
xen-users mailing list
which creates bridges at startup that?s exactly what
we need for the vif.
But which xen-script creates the vif's (name's)? Does
anyone know how I can solve that problem?

thanks in advice

Andi
