hi all,

will somebody please explain the step-by-step method of configuring the network of the guest operating system.I have installed FC4 as my guest OS.If I include vif =[''] in the configuration file I get an error while greating new domain using that file:

Using config file "/etc/xen/vm2".
Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Backend device not found.

However the new domain gets created.

My configuration file vm2 looks like:

kernel = "/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.16-1.2122_FC5xenU"
memory = 64
name = "vm2"
#vif = ['bridge=xen-br0']
vif = ['']
dhcp = "dhcp"
disk = ['file:/root/fedora.img,sda1,w']
root = "/dev/sda1"
extra = "ro selinux=0 3"

Somebody please help me as soon as possible.

Thanx in advance.
Sanjib
