I want to however create a FC4 virtual machine -

information on Fedora Core 5, see FedoraXenQuickstartFC5"

So what? Your tutorial obviously contains information on how to create
a fc4 dom0 and domU. Why not just go that way?

And if that fails, the fedora-xen list might be very helpful.

I attepmpted to use the image at: http://jailtime.org
but it doesnt seem to work (networking fail, most else works great) --

An error message would be great to help you.

IIRC FC5 does some strange things with networking, but they can be
easily circumvented - I think they are already discussed often on this
list.

I am thinking that it is because those are for Xen 2 (??)

As you start your image from dom0, and configure it from dom0 to run
with a xen kernel residing in your dom0's filesystem, it shouldn't
matter what xen version the jailtime image is created for.

There are also multiple mails about creating fc4 images (mkrootfs and
rpmstrap come to my mind) - this mailing list has an archive with
search function.
