In RHEL, mkinitrd suports these options.

On Debian-based systems the command is mkinitramfs, I don't have the
syntax at hand now.
on SuSE it's also mkinitrd, but it has a different systax afaik.

Maybe this should be put in the xen manual, because it is quite
misleading in this aspect.
