No I haven't found any answers to the problem although I believe it is specific to the SuSE XEN kernel. I made a test install using xen sources and did not have the problem. Unfortunately to be able to use the Yast features for xen the suse install is required. Since I installed the hba after the initial installation I am considering a fresh install with the hba in the machine and connected to the san. However I have my doubts about the doing anything different. > Here are some more informations. > Regards > Gladys > > - SLES 10 with XEN out of the box but with a new initrd to load the > gdth-modul first and the qla2xxx later > - output from xm info > release : 2.6.16.21-0.8-xenpae > version : #1 SMP Mon Jul 3 18:25:39 UTC 2006 > machine : i686 > nr_cpus : 4 > nr_nodes : 1 > sockets_per_node : 2 > cores_per_socket : 1 > threads_per_core : 2 > cpu_mhz : 3000 > hw_caps : bfebfbff:20100000:00000000:00000180:0000641d > total_memory : 8191 > free_memory : 143 > max_free_memory : 7905 > xen_major : 3 > xen_minor : 0 > xen_extra : .2_09749-0.4 > xen_caps : xen-3.0-x86_32p > platform_params : virt_start=0xf5800000 > xen_changeset : 09749 > cc_compiler : gcc version 4.1.0 (SUSE Linux) > cc_compile_by : abuild > cc_compile_domain : suse.de > cc_compile_date : Mon Jul 3 19:19:21 UTC 2006 -- Regards, John Little Network Engineer, HRH IS Department http://www.hendrickshospital.org _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
