Seems to work just fine ? You probably just hit the site at a bad time.
It is a ftp link, and I'm more than sure the max clients had been
reached when you tried.

httperf is only measuring the performance of your web server ... not
Xen, although the results would obviously reflect the performance of
your server running in a Xen guest. 

Or were you planning to bring up a farm of dom-u's to test other
servers?
