Hey guys,

I just installed Xen 3.0.3 on an AMD X2 64-bit.  I've got a pure64 install of debian booted as the dom0 and am trying to install winXP with an HVM setup.

I've gotten the windows XP installer to start and complete (graphics running over vnc).  However, when I try to boot XP from the "c" drive, after the bios screen, I get a "blank screen" as output from th evnc connection.  Doing an xm list shows that the domain is still in boot phase:

Name                     ID Mem(MiB) VCPUs State   Time(s)
Domain-0                  0     1415     2 r-----    595.9
winxp                    22      512     1 -b----      1.3

and xm dmesg has a couple of odd error messages from hvm_vlapic (log posted below).  I've tried twiddling with various config entries (enabling/disabling apic, acpi, pae), but I get even less far when apic and acpi are disabled.

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong or where to go looking next?

-Albert
