Hi Patrick,'my' options are located in the Xen-Kernel. But if you found a solution, there is no need to change any kernel options anymore ;-) Bye Carolin Patrick Heckeler wrote: -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Carolin, thanks for your fast answer. I looked for this option to activate in all scripts beeing located in /etc/xen/, but i didnt found it :-( (maybe you can give me a more detailed description where it is located) But I found another solution for the problem which also works quite fine: Add this lines to your /etc/modprobe.conf: install forcedeth /sbin/modprobe pciback ; /sbin/modprobe --first-time - --ignore-install forcedeth (forcedeth is used for my nvidia-eth-controler, maybe one will need skge for other controlers) options pciback hide (0000:00:04.0) (passes the hide params to pcihide) For more information see: http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/Assign_hardware_to_DomU_with_PCIBack_as_module?highlight=%28pciback%29 Carolin Latze schrieb:Hi Patrick, I had to enable the PCI-Backend with Passthrough under the XEN-options. When I try to use the grub command "pciback.hide", I retrieve an error message while booting my dom0... I read an article which says, that it might be possible, that the pciback.hide feature is not activated in the kernel... Does anybody know how to activate this feature? Thanks a lot..._______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users - -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen Patrick Heckeler Programmierung / Entwicklung Mediacluster GmbH Alt-Württemberg-Allee 42 71686 Ludwigsburg Germany Tel: +497141 / 90 64 40 Mobil: +49172 / 719 23 24 Privat: +497071 / 88 53 24 Homezone: +497071 / 28 47 33 email: heckeler [at] mediacluster [dot] de skype: p_heckeler ICQ: 200910972 "In der Informatik geht es genau so wenig um Computer, wie in der Astronomie um Teleskope." -- Edsger W.
