Needed a small help w.r.t networking using xen.
Im running opensuse 10.2 (192.168.1.1) on and have a  gentoo
(192.168.1.5) as my virtual machine. its all on my private network
192.168.1.x. When i ping my domain 0 machine i i get error as " destination host
not reachable.".
At this point when i try to see at the network details using
ifconfig, i see that the packets are received on vif and on xenbr0 as mapped
and shown by
    brctl show
bridge name     bridge id               STP enabled     interfaces
    xenbr0          8000.feffffffffff       no              vif3.0
However i do not see a peth0 and no packets received on eht0.
AS i have been reading about xen networking on xen mailing list as
well i see that in xen peth0 is not created in xen 3.0 ( have i mis
read it). i would like to know what mistake i might be making.
I have configured xen domain 0 and domain kernel as per the
documentation on wiki for gentoo.
Rest everything I'm using are default values.
    Thanks in advance in anticipation.

Regards,
NOEOL
