Hi,

What are the requirements for the 'Install Location' using the
xenguest-install utility? Specifically, what protocols are supported and what
needs to be in the specified directory?

The format is the same as that accepted by Anaconda for network based
installs. For example a Fedora Core 6, x86_64 install over HTTP is

  http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/6/x86_64/os/

You can also use ftp:// or nfs: in the URLs. The contents of the
directory pointed to, should basically be a merge of all 5 CD ISOs
as seen by the HTTP location above.

In Fedora Core 5 & 6, xenguest-install (now called virt-install in FC6 and
later) only supports installing of Fedora / RHEL distros. In F7 there is
now experimental support for SUSE style distros, again you'd point to the
top level directory of a SUSE install tree.

Thanks!
