No, only custom script is for creating the bridges.

No, no special configuration in the client. Just something like this in 
/etc/network/interfaces (debian guest):

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address x.x.x.x
netmask x.x.x.x
broadcast x.x.x.x
gateway x.x.x.x

and the same way for eth1..
