Hi,

i use OpenSuse 10.2 (Linux 2.6.18.2-34-xen) with Xen 3.0.3 on a Intel P4 2.8
GHz with Hyperthreads. There are 2 DomU's installed. I want to measure the cpu
load that produce the domains. I tried to use xenmon, but i get strange results
on the tests.

cpu cpu(%) blocked(%) waited(%)

0 3.231 13.423 0.206

There are several entries where the sum of cpu(%)+blocked(%)+waited(%) <100%
(http://www.gup.uni-linz.ac.at/xen/doc/eval/xenmon.php).

cpu cpu(%) blocked(%) waited(%)

1 15.937 73.033 33254.933

Under load approximately 30% of the "waited(%)" results are >100%.

It seems that the correctness of the results depends on the load. With high
load i get more strange results.

Did i misinterpret the data or is there an error in xenmon?

Thanks for any hint...

with kind regards

Stefan
