[Xen-users] Problems with Xen HVM image on DRBD filesystem

Hi,

I have been trying to create a xen HVM Centos4.4 image on centos 5 with a DRBD filesystem installing from DVD. However I get an IO error on the filesystem during the centos installation process which then aborts.

The DRBD filesystem seem to be setup correctly and is functioning as a block device as I can mkfs -t ext3 /dev/drbd1 read and write without error. If I replace the disk config to the raw partition like disk = [ 'phy:/dev/sda2,hda,w', 'phy:/dev/hdc,hdc:cdrom,r', ] no problems installs without a hitch.

My xen config is:
import os, re
arch = os.uname()[4]
if re.search('64', arch):
    arch_libdir = 'lib64'
else:
    arch_libdir = 'lib'
name = "centos"
builder = "hvm"
memory = "1024"
disk = [ 'phy:/dev/drbd1,hda,w', 'phy:/dev/hdc,hdc:cdrom,r', ]
vif = [ 'type=ioemu, mac=00:16:3e:36:41:01, bridge=xenbr0', ]
uuid = "77af2763-8a95-6800-1e8a-d6b2bbc4912f"
device_model = "/usr/lib64/xen/bin/qemu-dm"
kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader"
vnc=1
vncunused=1
apic=1
acpi=1
pae=1
vcpus=2
serial = "pty" # enable serial console
on_reboot   = 'restart'
on_crash    = 'restart'
boot = 'd'

Am I barking up the wrong tree or have I misconfigured something? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jai
