hi Davide,

i had the same problem and solved it using network-dummy instead of
network-bridge (you will have to create the bridge by hand)

But i'd like to back to network-bridge under debian/ubuntu in order to
use shorewall properly

oki, i'll try your config.
what are the commands to create the bridge by hand: ifconfig vif0...?
