Oliver Kowalke wrote: Hello, is xen-3.1.0 bound to linux-2.6.18 or can I also use it with >= 2.6.19? I've new hardware which is supported only from 2.6.19 and later versions. Or do I've to patch the xen-3.1.0 sources? if yes - how (seams not to be the linux src structure)? thx! Oliver Depends on your distro - there are lots of versions of kernel available - debian had a 2.6.20 available in etch for a while that works fine (it's in the archives although not 'live' any more for some reason). Redhat seems to have 2.6.21 versions around and I've even come across 2.6.22 prerelease versions. Compiling your own seems to be best avoided since there's no official 'xen patch' you can apply for each kernel that I can find.
