Yes, it does, but the first one captures the key combination. So, if you want to send ^A (ctr-a) to the second screen, you have to use ^A - A. Eg., creating a new window: ctr-a - a - c; switching to next window: ctr-a - a - p. Yes, it works perfectly!!!
