Hi again,
I'm working on a remote Xen server where I frequently have to insert/ swap CD's into HVM's. Bandwidth is such that I really want VNC rather than X-forwarded SDL; my understanding, though, is that the qemu monitor is disabled under VNC for security reasons. It certainly doesn't work for me.

I can log into the Xen dom0 as root; is there any way I can get at domU monitors from there? If not, is there any alternative that's not "change the Xen config file and reboot the domU" or "render an SDL display to an Xvnc4 instance on dom0, and use SSH tunneling to securely forward that display to my local machine"?

Relatedly, though less important: Is there a way to do this with PVM's (since they don't have the qemu monitor)?

Thanks,
Adam
