i have to deploy some servers with jboss applications on it. How does jboss performs on a Xen domU compared to a normal Linux install?

What are the points i should be aware of or take in mind when installing the stuff in a domU (like file images or physical disks, memory for dom0, ...).
I have jboss AS 4.0 running on Ubuntu Dapper 6.06.1 LTS amd64 domU on Ubuntu Dapper 6.06.1 LTS amd64 dom0, hardware is Dell PowerEdge 1850 dual Xeon 2 GB RAM, I think it's PERC 4e/Si RAID1. I don't remember the exact Xeon, but it was pre-HVM. There was nothing special at all about it except that jboss loves lots of RAM, so I had to give more to the domU, think it was about 768 MB - 1024 MB, didn't notice much difference in performance vs. running native with a regular kernel on the same OS / hardware. OTOH I am only running a few simple applets, it's not a heavily loaded jboss.
