This is typical behaviour for linux.  The linux kernel will attempt to allocate all available memory for disk caching, you will eventually see memory usage rise to ~90% and then sit around that point.

 

Inside top type ‘m’. This will add a memory summary at the top.

Hi All,

 

I am wondering if anybody experienced the same problem as me. I just finished creating a few linux vm each with 512mb vmemory on my Xenexpress 4.0.

After a few days the memory usage on each vm gradually increasing from 10%, and a few days later it became 30%. On my linux guest I only start mysqld service with minimum services on.

 

Any help or feedback would be appreciated.
