You didn't: the issue was clearly on my Thunderbird client, using Gmail IMAP, responding to the wrong person. It should have gone to Tiago Cruz.

Looks like Thunderbird is having even more fun with that weird setup than I realized: Gmail has this "All Mail" IMAP folder that seriously screws things up, near as I can tell.
