i am working on a network problem, when migrating domU's my example * i migrate domU from server A to B. * same mac address in domU * the migration works perfect * only the network switch doesn't realize that domU is on another port, all network traffic goes to server A ( watched the bridge with tcpdump ) * after some time, the switch cleans his arp cache and sends broadcast for the domU mac address i can speed up this process, if i ping something from within domU, so the switch recognizes that this mac address is on another port. but how can i do this automatically ? is there a way to get the domU ping something when migrating ? ( maybe some kind of udev event ? ) is there a way to tell the switch to clean the arp cache ? my system two HP bl465 Blade Server on SAN Storage over Fc. the domU blockdevice is on shared lvm ( clmv ) server os is Centos 5.1 64Bit _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
