2.6.18.8 didn't work for me on ubuntu 7.1 (server/amd64)
but the solution is easy:


cd /usr/src && wget
http://bits.xensource.com/oss-xen/release/3.2.0/xen-3.2.0.tar.gz &&
tar -xzf xen-3.2.0.tar.gz && cd xen-3.2.0
make all &&  make install

aptitude install linux-image-xen

reboot and enjoy xen with a 2.6.22-14-xen ubuntu xen-kernel which runs
fine.
