Hi,

I am trying to export a PCI soundcard which uses the snd_hdsp alsa driver. I can occasionally get the driver to load but am mostly met with a "No buffers available" error. Googling this error gets me nowhere - any ideas?

When I did get it to load without error once or twice I could not get sound applications to run reliably without crashing.

Funnily enough when loading the module on the DomO I still cannot reliably use the card, and also sometimes get the buffer error. This is using the standard 2.6.18-xen kernel (64 bit). I have also tried using the recent xen kernels on Ubuntu, RPath, and Debian. All distros I tried show the same problems. Note I also tried all these distros + CenOS on the DomU but this had no effect.

Hopefully there is a solution to all this. Fingers crossed!

Thanks,

Chris
