I'm seeing the same error with a xensource 2.6.18 x86_32p kernel for 
the domU (and a 2.6.18 x86_64 kernel in the dom0). The hypervisor is 
3.2, but the same problems occurred with 3.1 as well.
Running a (similarly configured) x86_64 kernel in the (same) domU is 
working fine (on 3.2; haven't tried 3.1).
