Hey list,

does anybody know if its possible to run a script on domU startup (or actually
before it's started)?

I'm using xen from Debian packages (amd64 etch) with iscsi initiator. I would
like to automate the iscsi login procedure to be able to use xen's
domU-autostart-init-scripts without having to care if the iscsi device is
already connected or not. e.g. something in the DomU-configuration file like

startup-script = /usr/local/bin/iscsi_check.sh <DomUname>

By convention the domU-name always equals the name of the iscsi target (at
least the last part of it). Therefore iscsi_check.sh would check if the given
target is already connected and/or connect to it if neccessary.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / with kind regards

Rudolph Bott
