[Xen-users] Re: Setting up firewall as Dom-U

I have a second NIC that I would like to plug into the net directly and then

Would I simply assign it 0.0.0.0 as an IP with a mask of 255.255.255.255 to
accomplish this?

Thanks!

Hi!

A bridge is at layer two, while IP is on layer three. So there is no need to configure the IP layer at all to get bridging to work. Not even "0.0.0.0".
