Subject: AW: [Xen-users] Solaris domU dies at boot

Hi,
i think you have to recompile xen3.2.1 or running solaris
not as a HVM - Please refer to these links:

**********************************************************
SNV87 PVM  at Xen 3.2.1 CentOS 5.1 (Ubuntu 7.10 Desktop) Dom0 is running fine.
Sun Xvnc has to be activated on SNV DomU . View for example:-
http://librenix.com/?inode=11382
***********************************************************

http://bderzhavets.blogspot.com/2008/03/install-solaris-0108-hvm-domu-64-bit-at.html

**********************************************************************
You can run SNV87 HVM DomU (64-bit) with standard Xen 3.2.1
I guess any recent Nevada Build would be OK

http://bderzhavets.blogspot.com/2008/04/install-hvm-s10-u4-domu-32-bit-at-xen-3.html

This issue is similar running FreeBSD 7 in HVM Domain. View:-

http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=622

***********************************************************************
If there's another solution for HVM solaris without recompiling xen, I'm
interesting in (-:

Question: Is there an impact relating this recompilation with "VMXASSIST
disabled" to other HVM's (windows xp, ..)
*************************************************************************
As far as to my knowledge VMXASSIST is disabled be defauult in Xen 3.3
*************************************************************************
regards
Danny
