That won't work, of course, since ACPI is obligatory for Vista to run. I
see that you are using xen-3.1.2-2. I was able to install Vista Business
using Xen 3.2.0. The system is now running stable. If you find no other
solution I would suggest to upgrade to the latest stable Xen 3.2 release.

hi,
i thought about upgrading to F9 since xen 3.2 is in it, but
from what i have read, an upgrade from F8 to F9 will break because Dom0s are
not supported in F9.
unfortunately the 3.2.x version is not in the F8 repository, not even in testing.
the xen homepage does have 3.2.0 rpms, but they are old and only for i386.
does anyone have a *.repo for a 64 bit system which would update to xen 3.2.x ?
