question comes up frequently, you should use what ever you
have the most experience with.
Personally, I run CentOS, and given the subject, my setup is the same
as yours.
I have an Asus p5k-vm
which
as I understand was used in a recent successful vt-d
enabled system to pass a pci device through to an hvm.
It’s
a super cheap solid performer.
