I am running xen 3.0.3_11774, which I assume is patch level 11774 of 3.0.3, but I am not sure. This is the standard version included with OpenSuse 10.2 I am running OpenSuse 10.2 as the host dom0, on a quad-core AMD processor. The guest is running with full virtualization, and is also OpenSuse 10.2 No matter what I set vcpus to in the .hvm config file, the guest only sees a single processor. I am definitely running an SMP kernel in the guest, but /proc/cpuinfo only reports one processor. Interestingly enough, "xentop" reports the domain with the number of vcpus I set, eg. 2, but "xm list" reports only a single vcpu, not matter what I set it to in the config file. Is there something wrong with the build I am using? Or with specific version? Or am I missing something basic that needs to be configured? Everything I read seems to indicate just changing the vcpus setting should do the trick, as long as I am running a kernel which can support it in the guest, which I definitely am...
