RE: [Xen-users] Problem with installing CentOS domU in CentOS dom0
I think you can use wireless,
but you will have to set up routing/NAT instead of bridging for your Xen
networking. This would be true for installation and general usage of a
domU that needs network access over a dom0 wireless device. I am assuming
the dom0 has internet connectivity. Unfortunately, I cannot help you
beyond that, as I am not familiar with routing/NAT in Xen since I have never
needed to use it. Also, I am not sure why your DVD install didn’t
work, and that might be easier to resolve.

Hi Dustin,
So you meant that without connecting to LAN (eth0), I cannot install domU with
it?
It's true that I use Wireless during the installation of domU. So what should I
do?
Thanks you,
Eric

don't support bridging (I believe this is because they don't support MAC

Hi all,
I am so depressed of installing CentOS 5.2 as domU in the same domain-0.
I've tried with virt-install and virt-manager. Neither of which succeeded
It was always stuck in retrieving the stage2.img file, whether from http://mirror.centos.org/centos/5/os/i386/images/xen/
or
from DVD installer CentOS that I made link "ln -s /media/CentOS_5.2_Final
/var/www/html/dvd"
I have no idea what's wrong with it. But the connection I use is with DHCP
Wireless (without LAN)
And I tried with making with command that written in : http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Xen/InstallingCentOSDomU
but the respond from console just :
Using config file "./centos02"
Started domain centos02
Any ideas? Please and thank you
