[Xen-users] Problems with PCI Passthrough on PVM

Hi list,

I try to pass a Promise Ultra133 TX2 to a PVM.

On the PVM I can see the controller using lspci

"06:00.0 Mass storage controller: Promise Technology, Inc. 20269 (rev 02)"

But I cannot access /dev/hdaX because dmesg shows

"ide: Assuming 66MHz system bus speed for PIO modes
PDC20269: IDE controller at PCI slot 0000:06:00.0
PCI: Enabling device 0000:06:00.0 (0000 -> 0003)

    ide0: BM-DMA at 0x1000-0x1007, BIOS settings: hda:pio, hdb:pio
    ide1: BM-DMA at 0x1008-0x100f, BIOS settings: hdc:pio, hdd:pio
Probing IDE interface ide0...

pnp: the driver 'i8042 aux' has been unregistered"

My dom0 has no problems accessing this device, and the domU boots the same kernel and initrd.

The Kernel version is the latest stable from xen.

Can somebody tell me whats wrong?

Thank you and best regards

Ralf
