In both cases bellow the same installation profile has been used :-

name="Fedora10PV"
memory=2048
disk = ['file:/etc/xen/isos/Fedora-10-x86_64-DVD.iso,xvdc:cdrom,r',
            'phy:/dev/sda7,xvda,w']
vif = [ 'bridge=eth0', ]
vfb = [ 'type=vnc,vncunused=1' ]
bootloader = "/usr/bin/pygrub"
kernel = "/isolinux/vmlinuz"
ramdisk = "/isolinux/initrd.img"
vcpus=1

1.)  Xen 3.3.1rc1-pre ported via http://gitco.de (just hypervisor upgrade) with RH's xenified kernel. Install prompts for source as usual. Both NFS share and local HTTP mirror works just fine. Total installation time 30-40 min.
2.) Xen 3.3.1rc1-pre ported via cloning mercurial@xxxxxxxxxxxxx . Local build succeeded with with vmlinuz-2.6.18.8-xen kernel. System rebooted into xen-3.3.1rc1-pre.gz with vmlinuz-2.6.18.8-xen and corresponding ramdisk.
Same F10 install just reports "Local media detected" and goes to partitioning phase. Then request to activate eth0 at DomU in DHCP mode. Success. Without any prompts
installer connects to Internet Repos and goes into package deployment phase.
The last one obviously runs slow ( 100 KB/sec ADSL connection). No chance
to change undesired installer behavior causing install via remote Fedora Repos
F9 Install in the same Xen environment works via deployment packages from DVD ISO
with no problems.
