If I time it loosely, I'd say maybe 3 1/2 seconds before the page changes on firefox for example. It's a Centos 5.2 guest running bind for internal DNS services. I gave it 256MB of memory to 512MB. It's barely using memory when it's working on a resolve and CPU usage is negligible as well. it's not terribly slow, just curious if it should be about as quick as a stand alone or not. Like I've said in another thread, perhaps it's as simple as keeping machines which must run as fast as possible as stand alone, dunno, just starting to get on my feet with the whole setup I've been building.
