Try with hda1 or xvda1. I remember getting that a while ago and replacing
sda with hda? but that could be wrong. Try it anyways!

Kindly advice on below Error? Not able to start the VM..

disk = ['file:/root/ubuntu.9-04.x86.img,sda1,w']

VFS: Cannot open root device "sda1" or unknown-block(0,0)

Please append a correct "root=" boot option

Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on
unknown-block(0,0)
