Hi all,

one of my domU's has a DVB-S PCI card assigned using PCI Pass Through. This
basically works but after some time I receive messages like this from VDR:

PES packet shortened to 4440 bytes (expected: 4624 bytes)
PES packet shortened to 4256 bytes (expected: 4624 bytes)

(The corrupted frames are visible and audible, of course.)

Rebooting the domU make those messages go away immediately for some time while
(some minutes up to some hours) removing the "swiotlb=force" parameter from the
domU causes fatal DMA errors.

Does anybody know what's going on and how to fix this issue? Maybe this is not
a Xen problem...

My setup: Xen 3.3.2-rc2 (64 bit), Linux kernel 2.6.26-2 (64 bit, Debian Lenny)
in dom0 and domU.

Kind regards,

Stephan
