Hi,
I'm interested in the current state of NPIV implementation in Xen, as I'm unable to find much information, let alone documentation, on the subject.

I read somewhere that Novell have demonstrated a working prototype with SLES and Xen a while ago, and that VMWare have a working solution. Sun xVM also seems to be dabbling with NPIV, however I see no definite statement that its production ready.

Is NPIV built into Xen yet, or is its implementation more of a plan for the future?

cheers
/ulrich
