Hi all!both Dom0 and DomU reside on LVM over Raid 5. The DomU shows low disk performance. Tried it with OpenSuse 11.1 and with Lenny as Guest (installed Lenny as HVM with original Xen-Kernel, then converted to PV, also tried with OpenSuse-Kernel kernel and ramdisk) - speed is always app. half of the Dom0-Speed: Dom0:~ # dd if=/dev/zero of=./test1024M bs=1024k count=1024 conv=fsync 1024+0 records in 1024+0 records out 1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 6.0963 s, 176 MB/s DomU:~# dd if=/dev/zero of=./test1024M bs=1024k count=1024 conv=fsync 1024+0 DatensÃtze ein 1024+0 DatensÃtze aus 1073741824 Bytes (1,1 GB) kopiert, 12,1765 s, 88,2 MB/sI expected the PV guests to reach near Dom0-performance.
