As long as you don't need HVM or a ton of power, the Atoms are a good platform!  I have a couple of them in production.

Subject: [Xen-users] Install Xen on Intel Atom Processor

I am planning to setup a new VM server for testing purpose, performance is not 1st priority and power saving by using Atom is attractive.

Anyone tried before and have any opinion to share?

My host and guest are both Linux, so no need HVM.
