Hello,
-- I am trying xen 3.4.1 with kenel-xen 2.6.31-rc6, i am not able to create virtual machine by using PCI passtrough to assign one of my PCI device to guest OS. But it thorows error like "VT-d is not enabled". I am using command "xm create Fedora9.conf" Fedora9.conf is my config file. Following is the output of "xm dmesg" (XEN) IOAPIC[0]: apic_id 8, version 32, address 0xfec00000, GSI 0-23 (XEN) Enabling APIC mode: Flat. Using 1 I/O APICs (XEN) Using scheduler: SMP Credit Scheduler (credit) (XEN) Detected 2666.811 MHz processor. I am wondering why with same H/W i am not able to use same functionality? Please let me know again about MSI, is that too needed to be enabled. thanks Dipak Dudhabhate, Software Engineer, HPC, Storage, Linux System Programming Mobile No: 9881231390 _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
