Should be fine - I've never had any issues with the clock getting off in HVM domUs, which would be one concern when virtualizing AD machines. You can take a look at the Archives for the Xen Users Mailing List for performance numbers - there's been quite a bit of discussion on that in the past.

Should I not use xen to run windows xp and windows domUs. Hard drive performace seem really slowwith phyical lvm on scsi. This for production I can slow disk speed. Would it be better to use xenserver for windows?
