Why don't you run vanilla/standard 2.6.30.latest kernel? It has Xen
pv_ops domU support included out-of-the-box.

xen.git is only needed for dom0 support. (And the latest pv_ops dom0
kernel is 2.6.31-rc6, in rebase/master branch of that git tree).
