Short answer: No. Long answer: Xen, the hypervisor that you can get from http://www.xen.org/products/xen_source.html, is a set of hypervisor and userland tools that requires an existing Operating System (OS) to run. The OS can be Opensolaris, Linux, or others. You can either add Xen on top of supported OS, or use an OS that already has Xen bundled (example: RHEL/Centos5, etc.). Citrix XenServer (http://www.citrix.com/English/ps2/products/feature.asp?contentID=1686939) is a commercial product that includes Xen hypervisor and other necessary components (including the OS) required to run on bare metal. -- Fajar _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
