Jan,

I am beginning to strongly suspect this is indeed due to IO starvation, at 
least for me.  I offloaded the heavy MySQL traffic (it's a bunch of CPanel 
domUs) which was the vast majority of the IO, and havenât had a crash yet.  
I'll let you know if I see another one.

Like you, I'm using 1TB SATA disks.
