Hi,
I change my video board from Intel to ATI and the system boots up ok with Xen 3.4.2 and Jemery's pv_ops!
But when I try to start the xend and try to see it, I got:
root@tcmc-dell:~# /etc/init.d/xend stop
root@tcmc-dell:~# /etc/init.d/xend start mount: xenfs already mounted or /proc/xen busy mount: according to mtab, none is already mounted on /proc/xen ......... root@tcmc-dell:~# xm top unable to open xenstore: Connection refused
Failed to initialize xenstat library
Maybe miss I something?!
Thanks! Thiago

With the nomodeset the Xorg.0.log file looks fine, no error reported but, I got a blackscreen/system freeze, no GDM, no X, no console... And in Ubuntu Karmic, there is no xorg.conf...
I'll take a look for you band-aid solution "Xen-devel ttm"...

Hmm.. I posted a temporary work-around, look for 'Xen-devel ttm'. The fix
is a band-aid until we get some time to look at this properly.
But with modesetting turned off, X should start properly. What does your Xorg.conf
and /var/log/Xorg.conf tell you? Any 'writeback' failed messages?
