Everything seems to work OK on Ubuntu 9.10 Server . Xen 3.4.3-r1 & Libvirt 0.7.0.
There should not be necessary to make "prevu" build of Xen 3.4.1.
Libvirt 0.6.1 (Ubuntu 9.04)  doesn't work with the most recent Hypervisor.

Boris.

Gerry,

Virsh version on OSOL and F12 looks like :-

[root@ServerFedora ~]# virsh -c xen:///

Welcome to virsh, the virtualization interactive terminal.

Type:  'help' for help with commands
       'quit' to quit

virsh # version
Compiled against library: libvir 0.7.1
Using library: libvir 0.7.1
Using API: Xen 3.0.1
Running hypervisor: Xen 3.4.0

Are lines "Using API: Xen 3.0.1"," Running hypervisor: Xen 3.4.0" present on Ubuntu 9.10 Server ?

Boris.

I had major problems using pygrub with karmic guests.  Karmic seems to not mind putting /boot into a logical(extended) partition but this is totally useless for pygrub.  Also pygrub is not secure at all.  So I started using pv-grub and everything just works - no problems at all and it's secure.
